Neurodiversity: Embracing Minds part 1

Mike's guest is Georgina Kennedy, a sales account executive at Cognassist, a company that was created with the single idea in mind to ensure neurodiversity is embraced every day.

Georgie is an openly gay woman, diagnosed with ADHD and Dyxlexia, she has been working in sales for over 13 years but 4 years ago she actively moved into the neurodiversity space after realising that her neurodiverse differences were being interpreted as a lack of intelligence and ability. At Cognassist, she is on a mission, along with her colleagues and the wider neurodiversity community to drive change. This includes driving awareness by educating and sharing lived experiences, being an ally, and providing individuals, institutions, and organisations with the resources and tools to enable all to thrive.

About the Podcast

Diversity Matters
The show where every voice is welcome, and every story is celebrated.
In this podcast series, Mike moves away from the traditional DE&I rhetoric, to get a better understanding of what diversity, equity and inclusion actually means for us as individuals. Are we seeing real change? Do you feel a greater sense of belonging in your workplace and community? Each week Mike and his guest open an honest dialogue on a specific DE&I topic, some discussions will be inspirational, others might be a little uncomfortable but hopefully all will be interesting and thought provoking.
